Healthy Studio Guidelines

Densmore Piano Studio is committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and stable learning environment. The following policies and procedures are in place to minimize the risk of transmission of respiratory viruses such as colds, flu, RSV, and COVID-19.

• Students, accompanying parents, and siblings should not come to the studio if they are experiencing symptoms of illness, or if any family members at home are sick. An online lesson will be offered during the scheduled lesson time instead.

• The teacher reserves the right to send home anyone who arrives exhibiting signs of illness.

• Once inside the front door, everyone is required to remove shoes and wash hands with soap & water, even if they will not be going to the piano.

• The washroom is equipped with touch-free fixtures, including paper towel dispenser, pedal trash can with lid, and motion-sensor soap dispenser.

• Face masks and/or social distancing may be required periodically at the teacher’s discretion.

• Surfaces will be disinfected at the end of each day, including piano keys, piano bench, tabletops, and door handles.
